Bachelor of Science in Marketing
The marketing program at UTampa stands out for its blend of theory and practical application. The curriculum is designed to keep pace with industry trends, offering courses that focus on digital marketing, branding, data-driven strategies, and market research. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, providing students with the opportunity to work on real-world projects and case studies that simulate challenges faced by businesses today. With access to internships, networking events, and workshops, students can gain valuable experience and build connections within the marketing community.
Relevant Coursework
In this class, I learned how to approach marketing and consumer research methodically, using primary and secondary research to address real-world problems and opportunities. The course emphasized designing and conducting research, analyzing and interpreting data, and effectively presenting findings to support strategic marketing decisions.
In this class, I gained a strong foundation in digital marketing theory and practical application. I explored key digital channels and platforms, including Owned, Paid, and Earned Media, to understand how they drive effective marketing strategies. I also developed solid working knowledge of digital platforms, KPI metrics, and ethical decision-making in crafting strategies.
In Spring 2025, I will take Global Marketing to understand the complexities of marketing in a global environment. This course will help me explore cultural and environmental differences, international research, and strategies for adapting product, price, promotion, and distribution to diverse markets.
In Spring 2025, I will take Promotion and Branding Strategies to deepen my understanding of integrated marketing communications. This course covers advertising, PR, branding, and social media, teaching me to develop cohesive plans that strengthen brand identity and engagement.
In Spring 2025, I also plan to take a Digital Media class to enhance my design skills and gain hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite tools. This course will provide valuable context on the history and theory of digital tools while teaching practical techniques for creating impactful and diverse media projects.

Since my first semester at UTampa in Fall 2022, I have been honored to consistently earn a place on the Sykes College of Business Dean’s List, which requires a GPA of 3.75 or higher. This recognition reflects my dedication to excellence and commitment to maintaining high standards each year.

American Marketing Association
I joined AMA at The University of Tampa to connect with like-minded individuals passionate about marketing and to gain hands-on experience in the field. I started as an SME in Programming, assisting with planning impactful events, and later became the Director of Partnerships, a role that allowed me to build connections with marketers across Tampa Bay and collaborate with other AMA Tampa Bay chapters. I also began as an SME in Email Marketing for the Spartan Agency, where I honed my technical and strategic skills. Now, as Vice President of the Spartan Agency, I lead a team of 20 talented individuals, managing real-world digital marketing projects for clients. This journey has enhanced my leadership, event planning, and marketing expertise while allowing me to contribute meaningfully to AMA’s mission of professional growth and collaboration.











The Advertising Club
For the Spring 2025 term, I am excited to join the Advertising Club Executive Board as its Event Planner. This role aligns with my passion for event and project management, developed through my involvement with AMA, and my growing interest in advertising, inspired by my internship at Lunch Pail Agency. My responsibilities include overseeing event logistics, coordinating schedules, managing resources, and ensuring adherence to school guidelines while collaborating with team members to execute engaging and successful events.
